Pair of 1950s Mauri Almari Model K11-15 table lamps for Idman. A rare pair executed in white painted metal and leather wrapped patinated brass. The shades can be raised and lowered. Reminiscent of Paavo Tynell's iconic designs for Taito Oy. An incredibly refined pair of lamps that is quintessentially Finnish.

A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the refined work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by collectors in the know.
