Set of 3 Audoux Minet small rope shades 1960’s

Sold Sold
  • Description
A set of three lampshades for a beachy, vintage feel in a contemporary interior. Each lampshade is 13.5 cms / 13.5 cms (5.3 in / 5.3 in), so they’d work well as either shades for modest bedside table lamps or desk lamps, or as part of a chandelier. French designers Adrien Audoux et Frida Minet were known for their ocean-inspired rope work, as exemplified in these pieces, during the mid-part of the 20th century. Natural-looking rope is wound around a metal structure to form the shades, serving as the primary material, rather than a decorative touch. The result is a nautical-meets-rugged mood.
