Brass and brushed steel andirons 1970s
-
Description
Here’s a pair of vintage brushed steel and brass andirons that has beautiful, understated look. The brushed steel has a unique light-reflecting quality, especially around its curves in the feet. And the bright brass elements provide a chic contrast and visual interest. Designed in the style of French design firm Maison Jansen, the pieces possess the elegance that dominated the French Hollywood Regency styles of the period. In a contemporary living room, the light metals contribute to a warm, natural atmosphere and would be highly decorative additions. They’re in very good vintage condition. Andirons are H 29 cm x W 19 cm x D 38 cms, and tools stand is H 67 cm x W 20 cm x D 29 cm.
