Modernist Sideboard with Perignem Ceramic and Macassar Details - 1950s
-
Description
Mid-century modernist credenza with sliding doors from the 1950s, Belgium. The sideboard shows some very prolific details which shows signs of great quality. Just look at the custom designed ceramic Perignem piece on the door panel, the sky blue laminate right door, the brass hinges and last but not least the Macassar door handles and feet. These added features really make this piece stand out of it's competitors in it's genre. We haven't been able to dedicate a designer with 100% certainty, the most likely suspects are Willy Van der Meeren, Charlotte Perriand and Alfred Hendrickx.
