French Early 19th Century Louis XVI-Style Walnut Commode

Description
This striking Louis XVI-style five-drawer commode, c.1810, is from France and features an exquisite Belgian Grey Sainte-Anne marble top which rests upon a walnut case outfitted with a central short locking drawer with brass shield-form escutcheon, flanked by a pair of short drawers with squared brass bail handles over a pair of long drawers with like escutcheons and handles, all having burled walnut veneers. The case has fluted shoulders and rests on tapering square feet with brass sabots.
