Rare Gorham Sterling Art Nouveau Arts and Crafts hammered Tea and Coffee Set. The set comprising Coffee Pot, Teapot, covered Sugar Bowl, Cream Jug and Waste Bowl. All with a wonderful combined nouveau arts and crafts stylised hand hammered design. Each piece with full Gorham marks, year symbol for 1897 and pattern number 8497. Given the last two digits of the pattern number, this may have been a special order set. Coffee Pot: Height 9.5 inches, handle to handle 9 inches. Teapot: Height 6 inches, handle to handle 9.5 inches. Covered Sugar Bowl: Height 5.5 inches, handle to handle 8 inches. Creamer: Height 4.5 inches. Waste Bowl: Height 3 inches, handle to handle 5.25 inches. Total Weight: 2645 grams (85.04 oz)
