18TH CENTURY FAIENCE HANAP OR DRINKING JUG
Helmet-shaped drinking ewer (Hanap) in faience resting on a piedouche, the spout decorated with a mask of a bearded man in relief,
the high handle finished in dots. Decorated in blue with lambrequins, foliage scrolls and flowers on a white ground,
gadroons simulated on the upper edge.
Rouen, France, first half of the 18th century.
