Studio Greytak’s Peekaboo Table 6 offers a glimpse into the intriguing nature of one of Earth’s most versatile minerals. Here, silica takes the form of both quartz and chalcedony, playing the dual role of faithful companion and dazzling interloper. Chalcedony begins as millions of silica molecules suspended in groundwater. This mixture follows the path of least resistance, trickling through the ground and pooling in cracks and cavities.
