Condition: Newly upholstered.
Iconic D70 fully adjustable sofa designed by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, circa 1950s. Convertible into a daybed when folded flat. Newly upholstered in a light gray wool fabric by Maharam / Kvadrat with new foam throughout. The base is black enameled tubular steel with brass adjusting details. Brass circular knobs are turned to adjust the pitch of the seat and back. Approximately 20 different positions! In 1954 the D70 sofa received honorable mention at the 10th Milan Triennale. Manufactured by Tecno, Italy. Marked with the Tecno tag on the left side, the tag is missing from the right. Very good vintage condition. Newly upholstered. General wear to the black enameled frame. Patina a wear to the brass details.
