Description
This 19th century flame mahogany drop-front secretary/linen press, c.1860’s, is a Dutch interpretation of the classic English Georgian style. It features a drop-front writing surface with a bank of ten cubbies over a central drawer with brass pulls flanked by four additional drawers for plenty of storage. The base is a linen press having a pair of paneled doors which open to reveal a pair of slide-out drawers. The whole resting on bracket feet and out fitted with gilt-brass bail handles and escutcheons. Retains two keys.
