  • Description
The Arne Norell "Thumb" Chair has a thumb-shaped backrest, that gives the chair it’s distinctive shape and name. This one-of-a-kind curved back with it’s ten tufted buttons rests on four beech wooden legs, with two being slightly tilted and two legs standing straight, enhancing the distinctiveness of the design and giving it a comfortable angle. The chair has been reupholstered in a premium bouclé fabric by Dedar.

In a small workshop in Sundbyberg the versatile designer made the first steps to what would become one of Sweden’s leading manufacturers of seating furniture.
