    An excellent example of a Decorative Chinese ( Canton ) Bamboo Armchair of the Regency Period, still showing the faded white decoration being quite the norm for this very Oriental fashion - which was made to suit the Chinese taste as well the thriving export market mainly to Europe. Notably the Prince Regent set the exotic style at home fashioning the Brighton Pavilion very much n this taste.
