French 19th Century Provincial Oak Server
-
Description
This handsome provincial oak server, c. 1830’s, is from France and has developed a beautiful patina over time. Of pegged construction, the two-plank surface rests upon an apron outfitted with two dove-tailed drawers, one large drawer ideal for linens and one smaller for flatware, with hand-wrought steel pulls. The whole is raised on square legs. This server would also make a great sofa table!
