Set of 3 large 1950s Stilnovo glass and brass pendants. A quintessentially 1950s Italian design executed in matte finish opaline glass, black painted metal and brass with a custom fabricated architectural ceiling canopy for mounting over a standard American J-box. Highly functional light sculptures of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Several lamps retain original yellow manufacturer's label. Price is for the set. Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors in the know. Ref. Models #1135, 1145 & 1192 n "Stilnovo: Apparecchi per L'illminazione" pub. Luminaires-Moderniste, pp. 115, 132 & 135 Professionally rewired for US electrical but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Please note only one representative example photographed for listing.
