Pair of Brass and Opaline Midcentury Floor Lamps by Stilnovo, Italy, circa 1950

Description
A rare pair of 1950s floor lamps designed and manufactured by Bruno Gatta's innovative lighting company, Stilnovo. Each floor lamp comprises of two opaline glass shades which are held within a double cross-frame made of brass. This is supported by a four-sided black resin stem which sits in a circular Carrara marble base. Completely re-wired and with their original brass foot-switches, these floor lamps are exemplary examples from the Stilnovo catalogue.

Condition:	Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Glass shades in perfect condition. Minor oxidisation to brass areas and light scratches on black supports. Marble in good condition with minor scuffs to outer edges.
