Italian Mid-Century Modern White Glass and Tubular Chrome Chandelier by Sciolari
-
Description
This striking chandelier was realized in Italy, circa 1970, by the esteemed lighting atelier Sciolari. It offers the bold modernist composition and eye catching design that collectors of the time and place cherish. It is composed of a variety of tubular chrome arms extending vertically and horizontally in perpendicular arrangement that attach to orbital white glass shades. The chandelier hangs from a cylindrical rod, in polished chrome, that attaches to a tapered canopy in the same form and material. With its graphic aesthetic and unmistakably modernist design, this fixture would be a winning addition to any style of decor from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. It accommodates six candelabra based bulbs, offering up to 360 watts of light.
