Pair of Mid-Century Modern Pendants with Etched Glass & Chrome by Kinkeldey
-
Description
These elegant Mid-Century Modern cube pendants were produced circa 1950 by the renowned Austrian maker Kinkeldey. Each side features four glass panels etched with an elaborate starburst pattern resembling an abstracted and illuminated woodcut print of the sun. The various panels are fastened together at the seams with chrome fittings. This is an exceptional example of Mid-Century Modernist design by one of the great lighting studios of the period- exquisitely crafted, versatile, and stunning. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. This pair of pendants would be especially stunning in a hallway or over a kitchen island. A single pendant can be purchased individually for $4475/each.
