    Here for your consideration in a wonderful, colorful Art Deco painting of a standing nude beauty with parrot by the American artist, George Beline. Signed lower right. Circa 1935. Condition is very good with no restorations. Titled verso with the artist's address in New York City. Exhibition label verso as well. Housed in a new gold leaf gallery frame. Overall 28 by 18 inches. Provenance: Saint Petersburg, Florida estate.


    Born in Minsk, Russia in 1887, George Beline settled in New York City. He studied in Paris at the Academie Julian with Jean Paul Laurens and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. He was also a student at the National Academy of Design. George Beline was mainly known for his marine paintings and his portraits. He lived most of his life in New York City where he died in 1971.
