Description
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, circa 1850-1870
Pittsburg artistry at its finest. An 8-rib pillar molded pitcher with a hollow handle. Outstanding ribs that continue up to mold the spout in an elegant swirl. The color is a rich, deep amethyst, accentuated by the pillars. Broken pontil.Rare survivor in this color and condition. -
