    This print is part of the uncommon men series. The artist John D Hertz known for his graphite pencil art, drew portrait of homeless men in NYC. Each one of them has a special character and energy. " I continue to turn to the streets to find many of my subjects, and my series of drawings based on these people is called “The Uncommon Man." As you can see, my true passion is giving a face and a name to those whom most people would just pass by " John D Herz

    John D Herz is born in 1948 in Trenton, NJ. A Navy veteran, John lived in Florida and then moved to Long Island, New York where he continues to produce the most beautiful graphite pencil art pieces and capturing the moment through his amazing portraits.
