Here we have a beautiful porcelain of an Art Deco stag with gold gilding designed by architect Gio Ponti. This figure was made in Italy by Richard Ginori in 1928 its titled "The Stag / Il Cervo".
This porcelain stag shows a great sence of grace in its leaping in the air, the gold painting highlights its beautiful form. The piece is signed with a green mark for Richard Ginori and the date mark for February 1930, along with the gold seal "Richard Ginori Pittoria Di Doccia".
A great piece showing the artistic genius of one of the most important architect and designers of the 20th Century.
