Description
Original oil on canvas painting by the American artist, August Weiss. Circa 1930. Condition is very good. Signed lower right. Charming, first snow in a typical New England town with father and son heading home after sleighing. The painting is in its original wormy chestnut wood frame in fine condition. Overall measurements are 23 by 27.5 inches. As an alternate frame choice. See last photo. Not the original frame but of the period and works well with the painting. Measures 25.5 by 29.5 inches.
