A Pennsylvania German inlaid walnut chest over drawers

The tall bracket feet and central pendant drop on this chest are related to a tall chest signed by cabinetmaker William Yocum of Montgomery County, PA. This example is inlaid with the initials "HL" and date "1779" on the facade.

Brass pulls are period replacements matching the witness mark of the original pattern.
