Rare Jacques Adnet art deco beechwood brass bar cart trolley 1940s
-
Description
This rare and beautiful bar cart was made by Jacques Adnet for La Compagnie des Arts Français in the early 1940s. It carries with it the elegant mood of the art deco period, especially with its bold, modern use of beechwood and brass. It’s set on functioning wheels and has 2/3 surfaces with two retractable shelves on each side and a drawer. A rare find, fully restored, in a great vintage condition. Jacques Adnet imbued the piece with his signature geometric flair with simple, clean shapes.
