Description
This refined and sophisticated Mid-Century Modern Brutalist stool was realized in France, circa 1950. It offers stylized shield form seats with rounded corners- a patently handcrafted form- with incised centres offering a wealth of carved ovoid forms. The stool sits on three cylindrical legs that flare subtly towards their feet and also offer a subtle hand carved texture. With its artisanal, handcrafted aesthetic, this Mid Century piece promises to add a touch of organic warmth and idiosyncratic beauty to any interior. Its austere form and neutral palate make it as versatile as it is refined, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. This piece is in excellent vintage condition. We have a total of three stools available.
