Mid Century Neoclassical Style Etched & Scalloped Mirror with Foliate Detailing

Description
This elegant Mid Century Modern mirror was realized in the United States, circa 1950. It features a rectangular form with a scalloped top; and a rectangular center panel of plain mirror topped with a domed panel etched with a neoclassical design. The concave upper panel offers a Greco Roman style urn with grape vines, replete with fruit clusters, cascading outwards from the top and stylized floral designs shooting outwards from the base. Additionally, there are stylized foliate detailing on the segmented mirrored sections tracing the top perimeter. The mirrored panels are secured by translucent florets. With its clean modernist lines and beautiful attention to detail, this mirror is as versatile as it is aesthetically pleasing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from traditional to contemporary.
