Description
Very fine round neoclassical Biedermeier side, sewing or working table with drawer, walnut veneer, South Germany, circa 1830
Walnut veneered and solid, ebonized trim. Top plate with very beautifully selected grain, veneered in eight star shapes.
1 drawer with black knob. Inner compartments in cherry wood and fold-out sewing cushion.
3 curved square feet with intermediate panel. Restored condition with shellac hand polish. -
