A tall, dark and handsome English vitrine, made in London circa 1930 by E. Pollard & Co. Ltd.

This exceptional display case is a sight in and of itself! It is finished in a very smart ebonized black lacquer. The case piece has five shelves, made of glass, that can have their heights adjusted to suit your needs. Two long doors, each outfitted with a large, singular pane of glass, close before the exposed interior. They have a small shaped brass pull and are embellished with carvings done in a running-coin motif. The cabinet has narrow sides,which are also made of glass, enabling its contents to be viewed from multiple angles. The back of the cabinet is mirrored, seemingly doubling the size of the interior while providing a uniform backdrop against which to display your prized possessions. A brass plaque displays the maker’s mark and can be found centrally, atop the plinth base.
