-
Description
An exquisite ‘802’ model two-seater sofa designed by Carlo De Carli for the ‘Hotel Parco Dei Principi’ in Sorrento, Italy. The Parco Dei Principi was designed and conceived in 1960 by Carlo’s good friend, Gio Ponti, and was furnished with many of Ponti’s celebrated furniture designs along with a few choice pieces by De Carli – this sofa being one example. Sitting on four walnut tapered legs, this impressive, yet elegant sofa has been completely restored and re-upholstered using the finest off-white mohair wool fabric from Dedar, Milano. A matching pair of armchairs is also available.
