French Early 19th Century Rock Crystal & Gilded Bronze Louis XV Style Chandelier

Description
This elegant Louis XV six arm chandelier was realized in France during the early 19th century. It features a gilded bronze body with six sinuously curved undulating arms; a central sculptural stem wrapped in rock crystal; a polished tear drop finial in rock crystal and hanging diamond rhombus forms scattered throughout. Additionally, the piece offers the original channeled concave finial in gilded bronze, and six bobeches adorned with hanging tear drop rock crystals. With its impeccable craftsmanship and sumptuous materials, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically appealing, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classical to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates six candelabra based bulbs offering up to 240 watts of light.
