Gas Powered Tether Race Car One of a Kind England 1948

Sold Sold
  • Description
This a very unusual gas powered miniature race car. It is made from aluminum & scratch built by hand around 1948 in England. It is a very unique design, three wheels, similar in the style of the three wheel Morgan sports cars built during the 1930's & early 1950's. It measures 14" long x 5" wide x 4" high. This car has been raced & shows sign of wear to the tires & driving cogs inside & possibly repainted over the years. Overall it is in very good original condition maintaining all the original parts. This car has not been running for many years, but most likely can be made to run, it would require special diesel fuel for the engine. It should only be operated by a person with experience & in a controlled environment as these toys can reach speeds of up to 60 mph. We are selling this as an historic decorative display object.
