This striking Mid Century Modern cubist chandelier was realized by the fabled atelier of Gaetano Sciolari in Italy circa 1970. It features intersecting square planes of lustrous polished chrome interspersed with volumetric cubes of translucent lucite speared with cylindrical oil rubbed bronze supports. With its clean lines and incredibly graphic form, this piece embodies the dynamism and élan of Sciolari at his best. This piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of first rate Mid Century Italian design, as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. The chandelier accommodates seven candelabra based bulbs offering up to 420 watts of light and is in excellent vintage condition. The height can be adjusted to suit.
