    "Special Madame Pompadour", a coffee table in patinated pewter and bronze with hand-applied polychrome enamels by Philip and Kelvin Laverne, American 1960's (signed on top “Philip Kelvin Laverne”). The coloration of this table is exquisite. Has the original gallery labeling on the bottom. It's a gem.

    Philip and Kelvin LaVerne Sculpture III catalog published in the 1970’s on page 20 here is a photo of this table on the right and the description in the back reads, “Recreating the splendor of 18th century France, enamel cloisonne heightens motifs of flowers, birds, and beasts. Allegorical trophies representing the Arts and the Sciences form additional designs. The hand formed bronze base is decorated with cast bronze leaves.”
