Biot Pot on Stand
-
Description
Beautiful antique terracotta biot jar made circa late 19th century. Once used to keep olives throughout the Mediterranean, ours was sourced from the south of France. This striking vessel has a classic form and color. Weathered and aged, with added texture from the moss and lichen that speckle the exterior. Base is open and cannot hold water. Cast iron stand included with the jar.
