Gianfranco Frattini, Rosewood Highboard/Bar For Bernini, Italy, Late 1950s
-
Description
After the success of the 550 rosewood line, designed in the mid-1950s, Gianfranco Frattini, worked on an evolution of it, maintaining some elements, such as the beautiful Brazilian rosewood, with a warm tone between red and brown, and the shape of the furniture handles, simple oval cutouts and conceiving a more limited series of medium-sized furniture: a desk-cabinet, different types of cabinets that can be used both as a wardrobe, or as a bar cabinet in a living area or in a hall since dinner.
The cabinet we are presenting, made by Bernini in the early 1960s, is a modular piece of furniture in three sections: two with double doors and one with four drawers.
The cabinet is in perfect condition: the surface has been carefully restored: some signs related to age and use are visible.
The side lock, no longer functional, has been replaced with a circular brass detail.
The price does NOT include Delivery Duties (UK VAT). -
