Pair of Mid Century Handblown White Murano Glass & Chrome Channeled Sconces

Description
This stunning pair of sconces were realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- circa 1970. They feature austere convex silhouettes with raised horizontal banding in opaque white handblown Murano glass. The frames are secured with chrome demilune plates, adorned with cylindrical finials in the same material. With their monochromatic palate, and clean modernist lines, this pair of sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition.
