Description
This beautiful abstract, organic-shaped sculpture was realized in darkened chestnut wood in France in the 1950s.
The artist is, unfortunately, unknown and we do not have more accurate informations about the original provenance.
It comes from a private collection in Paris.
Its conditions were fair, but we have carefully cleaned and restored (where necessary) the surface of the wood, to enhance its brilliance and vibrant color tone.
The wooden base on which the sculpture was mounted, has been replaced with a black and white marble block, which gives the work greater stability.
