Vladimir Kagan for Vladimir Kagan Designs, Inc. Unicorn triangular stool with ivory bouclé upholstered cushion on cast and polished aluminum base. Newly reupholstered in a luxurious Rosemary Hallgarten ivory or white alpaca wool bouclé.
Inspired by a Constantine Brancusi Bird in Flight sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Unicorn series was one of Kagan's favorite designs used first for the base of tables in wood in 1957 and later cast in bronze and aluminum. -
