Pair of Mid Century Translucent Stylized Anemone Sconces by Barovier e Toso

Description
This stunning pair of Mid Century Modern sconces were realized by the fabled Italian atelier of Barovier e Toso circa 1950. They feature translucent channeled bodies that taper to their base, suggesting abstracted anemones, with stylized slits at the top and conical chrome finials at the base. With their beautiful glass quality and clean modernist lines, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Mid Century Modern to contemporary. The sconces have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent condition. They accommodate two Edison based bulbs each offering up to 400 watts for the pair.
