Scandinavian Modernism can be visually described by this beautiful easy chair: sleek, organic and timeless. These attributes are met with high quality materials and the famous craftsmanship of Scandinavian cabinetmakers.

This high back chair’s comfort is equalled by its stylishness and elegance. The chair is raised on dark, stained beech legs and is covered in beautiful, soft sheepskin. A conspicuous feature of this model is the design of the seat cushion and the armrests. Unlike most chairs, here the seat is longer than the armrests which creates an interesting look, not to mention the level of comfort. The design is visibly centred around the sitter’s comfort, aided by the bent high back, the generous seat, and curved armrests. The Scandinavian design principle of functionality is therefore fulfilled to the maximum. Furthermore, the sitter of this chair is “hugged” by the gentle ear flaps or wings on both sides of the backrest to add cosiness to the design. The sheepskin pronounces this chair’s interesting lines even further, while also highlighting the warm colour of the tapered legs. Thanks to the properties of premium wool fibre, this chair provides great, soft comfort.

The cabinetmaker behind this chair had a unique design idiom, which is clearly visible in this model: function, durability, timeless design, and perhaps above all, comfort. This traditional yet playful high back chair combines all of these attributes, which makes it ideal to be the focal point of any space.
