Jacobean Revival Library Table

Description
This is an unusual example of a Jacobean Revival Library table that dates to the end of the 19th or early 20th century, The table is attributed to Waring and Gillow* and features eight beautifully turned barley twist legs joined by an Aesthetic Movement style stretcher. The expansive 72 inch wide top is framed by a wide skirt with open work carving detailed by scrolling leaves and winged cherubs. The table is in very good condition and has been recently refinished.
*The renown English furniture manufacturer, Gillows of Lancaster, joined with Waring in the very early 20th century due to financial difficulties. - More Information
