This stunning pair of Machine Age bookmatched walnut and black lacquer nightstands were realized in the United States circa 1935. They feature volumetric rectangular bodies with three drawers framed in black lacquer- all crafted in bookmatched walnut. The drawers offer skyscraper style streamlined pulls that adjoin to half spherical embellishments in black lacquer. With their iconically Art Deco materials and motifs, these nightstands are sure to delight discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. Their clean modernist lines and neutral palate ensure that they would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly restored to mint condition.
