This refined pair of Art Deco Streamlined Machine Age occasional/ side chairs were realized in the United States, circa 1935. They feature subtly cantilevered tubular bent aluminum frames with a floating back seat, streamlined arms, and a gently rounded cushion attached in the back via two rectangular supports in the same material. With its iconically Machine Age aesthetic and materials, these chairs are sure to delight discerning collectors of 1930s American Art Deco design. Their clean lines and neutral palate ensure that they would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly reupholstered in platinum Holly Hunt velvet and are in excellent vintage condition.
