Description
Stately, large Biedermeier armoire or wardrobe in cherry solid wood from Southwest Germany, circa 1820.
Solid cherry tree, hand-polished with shellac (French polish).
Some ebonized parts, including three-quarter columns at the corners.
Beautiful 8 panels in the doors and sides.
Original, large brass key plates.
Inside 4 shelves covered with black fabric.
The armoire can be completely dismantled for transport.
