Glass & Brass Umbrella Stand By Max Ingrand For Fontana Arte, 1960s
-
Description
Rectangular umbrella stand designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte in the early 1960s. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
This is the standard version: a huge rectangular and a smaller square one have been realized as well.
The brass frame was the same (only the dimensions change) in all the versions: what changed, was the glass, which could have been clear, smoked, bronze and with hammered edges.
The one we present, is with rectangular smoked glass panels.
It is fully functional and in overall good conditions. The brass frame shows signs of wear and use, however it can be polished upon request.
The price does NOT include delivery duties.
Feel free to ask a quotation for the transport. -
