Grant Trick

American
Grant Trick was born with a desire to make beautiful things. As a creative and curious child, he filled his days learning everything he could about carpentry and sewing. After graduating from the apparel design program at the University of Alabama, he began working as a sportswear designer for Lafayette 148 in New York. During his time there, he perfected the pattern making skills that are fundamental to his approach to furniture today. Following a successful start in the fashion industry, Grant further developed his talents as a contract showroom designer and prop maker for brands such as Tiffany & Co., Levi Strauss and Nautica. His passion for the design-build process led him to pursue a special opportunity to hone his craft in San Francisco. Once he mastered the art of manufacturing custom upholstery and soft furnishings while working in high-end workrooms, Grant decided to flex his creativity as a craftsman and an entrepreneur. He returned to his southern roots to open a custom upholstery business that has since grown into one of the most respected workrooms in the Southeast. Grant is excited to release his newly created private furniture line in select trade rooms.
