Chinese Chippendale Style Mirror
-
Description
This is a wonderful example of a 19th century Chinese Chippendale carved and gilt wood mirror which is in overall good condition. In addition to its "pagoda" top and well-carved anticipated Chinese Chippendale elements, the mirror features a charming carved squirrel, a fox and a dog. Over its long life, the mirror has had several minor restorations and the mirror plate is a replacement.
