Description
This stunning and sculptural wing arm sofa was realized in the United States, circa 1950. It features two splayed front conical legs and three conical hind legs- all in lustrous black lacquer- that extend up the back of the sofa attaching the seat. With its beautiful construction and subtly dynamic form, this piece offers the qualities that discerning collectors of first rate Mid Century Modern design adore. its clean modernist lines and monochromatic palate ensure that it would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid Century to contemporary. It has been newly reupholstered in pearl white "Great Plains" ecriture velvet by Holly Hunt and restored to mint condition.
