Description
This elegant modernist wall sconce was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production. It features a textural billowing Murano glass body replete with an abundance of 24kt yellow gold flecks embedded into the glass with a sculptural undulating translucent glass finial and spherical brass rivets. With its ebullient form- full of verve and élan- and beautiful glass quality, this sconce is as versatile as it is stunning, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition.
