Rare Pair Robsjohn-Gibbings Side Tables
-
Description
1961, from a small collection for Baker Furniture produced just for one year. Beautiful European Walnut with delicately reeded legs. This line marks the transition from Gibbing's American-focused design for Widdicomb Furniture, towards the neo-Greek pieces from his collaboration with Saridis of Athens. The rectangular end tables are quite rare and never found as a pair. Baker metal tags to underside.
